The entire SRISTI Khedut Khedut Haat is skillfully organized, coordinated, and promoted by Sristi Innovation. They conduct regular farm verification and authentication, select and train farmers, and provide continuous guidance on chemical-free farming methods. The organization also undertakes laboratory research to address farmers’ challenges and actively raises customer awareness and support.

To ensure the authenticity and quality of the products, the selection process for participating farmers is rigorous. Sristi Prakritik Khedut Haat carefully verifies each farm based on strict natural/organic farming criteria. Only farmers or village groups who have consistently adhered to organic methods for at least three years are allowed to sell their produce.

The primary focus is on supporting rural farmers and self-cultivating groups whose livelihoods depend on natural farming. Additionally, any special fruits or farm produce from outside Gujarat undergo thorough verification by Sristi Innovations and the farmers’ group before being permitted for sale.

At the haat, the price of vegetables is determined by the farmers themselves, taking into account factors like quality and transportation costs. Importantly, all payments are made directly to the farmers, strengthening the direct link between producers and consumers.

In this farmer’s haat, consumers can enjoy unadulterated, purely natural products that are free from agricultural chemicals and industrial pollution. All items are grown in fertile fields, and customers have the unique privilege of direct sales from the farmers themselves, ensuring a fully transparent system.

In Ahmedabad, a unique initiative is fostering a harmonious relationship between rural farmers practicing natural farming and conscious urban consumers. Every Sunday and Thursday, an SRISTI Prakutik Khedut is organized to the benefit of both parties.
